🌺 Some years ago, I designed a signature program for creating success on your terms called ‘The BRAG Factor’.

Action Strategy #3: (A)LIGN focuses on how to arrange or position yourself in a way that takes you from where you are currently, to where you want to be.

Learn how to ask for help or support, ask questions, ask to be invited, ask for opportunities. Ask for information. If you don't ask the answer is already no. However there are ways to ask in a respectful way that supports your alignment and positions you to achieve your highest goals without diminishing your self respect.

In 2016 I wrote an eBook called "The Ask Manual" teaching people 'when' and 'how' to ask to get a "Yes".

▪︎ L- Leverage.👇🏽

Learning how to use something you already have to achieve something new, bigger or better. Try leveraging your opportunities, access, resources, contacts, information, influence, finance and success for maximum advantage. Leverage your results, your gifts and talents. Find the interrelationships between the different projects you have or the people you know and connect the dots so you can amplify your desired results.

▪︎ I- Identify 👇🏽

Identify your value. Understand what makes you special and unique and establish that to enable others recognise it and associate themselves with it (and you). Also identify opportunities and people (the who's and whats) that you also would like to be associated with. Those who have what you lack or admire. Spot the advantage, pin-point where/how you can be of value to them and make positive moves for synergy.

▪︎ G- Give 👇🏽

Give something meaningful. Be generous. Offer kindness, provide help, donate or contribute your time, resources, connections, expertise, knowledge... anything that takes you from self-serving to genuinely serving others.

Remember, nobody was ever honored or rewarded for what they took or received, people are only honored for what they give freely. And givers NEVER lack.

🌹 A Creative is an Artist. Not only by her artistic talents. She is also someone who sees the world a little differently from others.🥰

‘Different’ is quite abstract. ‘Abstract’ could be art.😜

A creative is an individual. Unique!!

One who doesn't quite fit into any box. Some say she's an iconoclast; others think she's a rebel. They may be quite right.

A creative is a thought leader. She influences people not just by her personality but through her innate gifts and talents... And her expansive view of the world through her mind's eye.

So what does a creative do?

She creates MAGIC.

~ She invents ideas.
~ She crafts solutions
~ She designs experiences
~ She produces art.

Not for validation or applause or just for financial reward - but mostly for self expression.

A creative, colors outside the lines. Verily - On purpose.

… In so doing, she shows the world a whole new picture they never would have seen.

A creative breaks the rules. And as a result, she sets a new standard.

This world needs more creatives in positions of influence — to color our communities with beauty and life.

Creatives bring art to areas where there is only architecture.

Their gifts stimulate emotions and amplify our joy. They mold ideas into reality.

Creatives help us see LIFE in a new light — to perceive a new dimension, a deeper way of experiencing and encountering what we know.

And we need more of these kinds of leaders and healers.

... Because creatives are also healers. Healing the world through our work and transforming many lives.💕

Sometimes the goal is to just be human. Not a robot, but HUMAN. And that may mean that your response or reaction could be imperfect.

👉🏽 No need to ‘laugh’ if all you want to do right now, is CRY.

👉🏽 No need to ‘stay’, if all you want to do is walk away.

👉🏽 No need to replace your ‘pride’ with false humility.

Cue this, no need to smile if you all you want to do is pout.😆

Feel free to pout my friend.😂

Whatever you ARE, own it.
Whatever you FEEL, own it.

Quit trying to fit into societal expectation of what a perfect person is. It is okay to express your imperfections. We are all trying to figure out life.

...And its okay if people don't like you for NOT fitting their perfect little narrative too.

No human being is made of bricks and mortar… No one has it all together and nobody really needs to, because PERFECTION itself is an illusion.

Every person is entitled—to embrace all of their emotions, confusion, humanity, fragility, vulnerability, challenges and complexities without fear, judgment or apologies, as long as they are courageous enough to take full ownership of their declarations and results… and NOT blame others for it.

If you are bold enough to own ALL of your imperfections, I honor your courage and your humanness.

Your humanness is inspiring.💕
